Adding default customer to POS sale
Carel Sarton
The ability to set a customer (for example store register data) to a POS sale as standard, instead of Guest Checkout being the default. This is for order registration in WooCommerce.
Many European accounting programs require a relation linked to a transaction. If no relation is linked to a POS transaction in WooCommerce, there will be no synchronization to for example "e-boekhouden"

This is really a must have feature. Some of my clients will not implement OliverPOS until it is supported.

Has this been implemented, it is a huge problem for us with blank customer name.

Dear Jordan or Mathias, would it be possible to get a quick fix for instance by putting the default customer as the shop name and address, both of which are by default on OliverPOS? thanks.
Carel Sarton
Mathias Nielsen Can you please give a update.. because of this we disabled Oliver because counter sales are not synced in our accounting software. And of course we would like to use Oliver

I also agree here. In France regulation, it is required to have a name and an address attached to a receipt for accouting aspects. Depending on the accounting software used, a name only might be sufficient (our case so far, using Axonaut), but if we use another software (VosFactures, KiWiz), they also need an address (could be the store address :-)). So far, we add a fake customer for every sale, and sometimes, we forget so we have to go in woocommerce and add it manually...
Now, indeed a POS receipt does not have/need a name, but as woocommerce is not compliant with for VAT laws, one workaround is to use a certification software which will certify each receipt..but then, it needs a name (at least)...
So it woudl be great to have this feature :-)

We have the same problem and it's getting a big problem as we speak.

Thank you for your feedback, I was actually not aware of that. We will certainly take that into consideration.
